The name of the administrator or host of a group of posts. |

You can choose your name, a nick-name, or if you plan to be a host, the name of your group, organization or business. User Names should be 4 to 8 characters, no spaces, in lower case.
Note: The 'Author Name' may be different on each pattern page, as opposed to the 'Host' name which appears on all the pattern pages in a group.

Password:
The secret code which, in combination with your User Name, allows you to log-in to PatternPost and administrate your pattern pages. |

Your password should be 4-8 characters, no spaces, in lower case. You will be asked to enter it exactly as you created it when you log-in.

CREATING A USER NAME - When you create a user name you are personalizing your activities at PatternPost. It is suggested that you use a name which will tell your clients what you do. You may want to use a nickname or your real name, the choice is yours.
CREATING A PASSWORD - The password you choose should be written down and stored in a safe place. You will use your password in combination with your user name to log on to administrate your posts Choose a password which is difficult to guess. Six or more characters consisting of mixed letters and numbers is best.
RE-SELLERS BRANDING INFO - When you choose a user name for a 'block' of patterns, that user name appears on each of the individual pages within that block. That means all the posts within the block are the responsibility of the 'reselling' user. In effect you are the responsible host of these posts You can use this to your advantage by developing 'branding', a useful marketing technique. Branding may be useful to promote a chapter, club or business.

One of the best features about PatternPost is a 'flat-rate' posting fee. There are no percent of sales fees required by PatternPost. You may be required to pay a percent of sale fee by the credit card processing company, if you choose one.
The PatternPost posting fees are simple and straight forward; the more patterns you post for longer durations, the less expensive the cost per pattern.

Expiration Notice: |

You will receive an expiration notice...
Each time you create a pattern page on PatternPost, a countdown begins and continues for the duration of your posting term. An expiration notice will be sent to you automatically when the countdown reaches seven days prior to the expiration of the posting. The Notice you receive will include the reference number of your pattern page.
Upon expiration, your page is no longer available to the public. [The page as you created it, is saved for 60 days. To re-activate the page simply type the pattern number in the 're-activate' field on the Post page.]
